Plantilla:Wikificar El Servicio Internacional de Rotación de la Tierra y Sistemas de Referencia, más conocido como "Earth Rotation Service" (o Servicio de Rotación Terrestre); fue establecido en 1987 por la Unión Astronómica Internacional" y la "Unión Internacional de Geodesia y la Geofísica".
Según su mandato, el IERS realiza su misión mediante los componentes siguientes: Centros Técnicos, Centros de Producto, Centros de Combinación, Coordinación de Análisis y Oficina Central.
